Diana Lynn Sisco

Diana Lynn Sisco of Ponca City passed away Thursday afternoon on August 29, 2013, at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was 60.

Diana was born on April 9, 1953 in Enid, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Vearl Albert Smith of Ponca City, and Patricia Smith Leonard of Ponca City. She graduated from Ponca City Schools and earned an associate degree from Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa.

Diana married Larry Dean Sisco on March 14, 1993 in Ponca City. She was a talented seamstress, and enjoyed decorating their home, flower gardening, cooking, and jewelry designing. She was very happy when she was well enough to attend church. Her faith gave her amazing strength to endure the health issues she battled.

She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Larry; her mother, Patricia Leonard; and her sister, Connie (Jack) Smith of Denair, California. She was loved by many sisters-and brothers-in law; Dorothy Smith of Sand Springs, Carolyn (David) Barnett of Ponca City, Donald Sisco of Marland, Ronald (Cheryl) Sisco, Lonnie Sisco, Connie (Terry) Mullennax of Ponca City, Kenneth Sisco of Ponca City, LaDonna Sisco of Marland, Cathie Sisco of Ponca City, Cindy (Jim) Sinor of Ponca City, Terry Sisco of Marland, Tamie (Jerry) Schneeberger of Lamont.

Diana enjoyed all her nieces and nephews. She treasured their ongoing support.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Vearl Smith.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 10:00 am, at the First Baptist Church, 218 S. 6th in Ponca City, with Pastor Andy Taylor, officiating.

A formal visitation for family to greet friends and family will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at Trout Funeral Home from 2-4 pm Casket bearers will be James Dale Smith, Jerrad Smith, Chad King, Timothy Sisco, Justin Mullennax, and Ronnie Sisco.

Honorary bearers will be her brothers-in law.

Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
